Almost 3 years ago I wrote above Shannon Larratt at Price of His Toys and his Laser 917 kit car. That little post still generates a fair bit of traffic and occasionally we get e-mails about cars for sale. Last night I received one such e-mail from photographer Paul Harmon who is helping out a friend who needs to sell a project. I’ll let Paul’s friend give you her description:
Due to major medical problems, we ended up just storing this vehicle. Car has a 1600 VW Motor, runs well, mileage is 7268. Body and interior are in good condition, exterior is white, interior red and black. Vehicle needs a little TLC. The head-light covers and rear window need to be replaced. The exterior needs to be touched up in a few places, fabric inside of door panels needs to be reglued, also missing part of number off the front. We will review any reasonable offer.

I don’t know too much about the value of these cars, but I do know that this is a great looking potential project. The Laser 917 was and is one of the more desirable kit cars back in the day.
